The workshop will consist of plenary sessions only. Plenary sessions will host keynote speakers along with the presentation of selected papers submitted through the call for papers.

Objectives

The workshop welcomes research empirical (applied econometrics) papers that

  • evaluate current or past health policies;
  • undertake analyses that shed light on important health policy questions.

Please submit your complete paper to brechs@unimib.it as an e-mail attachment in PDF
form, titled with your full name.

Important dates

  • Paper submissions: from 7 January 2024 to 31 March 2026.  
  • Acceptance decision: 30 April 2026. Authors of accepted papers need to register by 1 May 2026 to confirm participation.
  • Fees: 500 euros
  • Registration for resident in Italy: LINK will be available from 1 May to pay:  
  • Registration for non-residents in Italy: LINK will be available from 1 May to pay

Forecasting the Teaching Workforce in Italy

On the occasion of the conference “Forecasting the Teaching Workforce in Italy” in which the European Commission (DG REFORM), Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM), INDIRE, INVALSI , EY and University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB) will participate, Prof. Berta and Prof. Lovaglio will speak on behalf of the Crisp Center.

In particular within the focus on the forecasting model, they will present the results of the research carried out for the client EY by presenting the forecasting model and a description of its projections.
