The second transnational meeting was held in Bilbao on 15 March at Prospektiker.
Context and background
LMI-Euniv is funded under the Erasmus Strategic Partnership Programme in the “Cooperation
partnerships in higher education” funding sub-programme. The primary focus of the project is to analyse
and understand the use of labour market intelligence in European universities, identifying main LMI
sources at national level and creating a collaborative network that promotes teamwork in order to
develop a set of tools that will help to improve the use of LMI in European universities. To support the
decision-makers from HEI in using labour market information, an LMI Hub will be developed to
aggregate LMI sources useful for HEI and a guide will be made available to help HEI to use LMI in
planning their activity. Direct target groups are higher education institutions which can learn how better
use the labour market intelligence sources to improve their curricula and adapt curricula to labour
market demands. Indirect target group consists of policymakers and key stakeholders who will be better
able to positively influence university provision.
Objectives of the meeting
The meeting will be focused on:
• Discussion on results from IO1
• Discussion on results and further steps on IO2
• Decide about the content of TC and prepare the launch of LMI HUB and Guide – IO3
