Towards the European Web Intelligence Hub – European system for collection and analysis of online job advertisement data

Cedefop, in collaboration with Eurostat, has decided to launch a tender for the acquisition of services aimed at the adoption, maintenance and further development of the data production system and its parts for the period 2020-2024, aiming at full implementation within the “European Trusted Smart Statistics Centre’ Web Intelligence Hub”, European Integrated Statistical System. Crisp will lead the consortium in charge of realising this project, that involves 32 EU Country experts. The main goal of the project is to put big data into official statistics by collecting online European labour market dynamics to support policy and decision making by analysing occupations and skills using the ESCO taxonomy as a reference. To date, the project is collecting data from more than 600 online portals over EU, handling more than 30 languages and collecting 400M+ online job ads since 2019.
